This rousing tale of adventure centers on Henry Durrie (Richard Thomas), a Scottish nobleman who is forced to flee his homeland and abandon the woman he loves after a failed attempt to overthrow the contested king. He takes to the seas only to fall in with a band of cutthroats. Now more pirate than nobleman, he returns home flush with riches to reclaim his betrothed bride and fight his duplicitous brother, James (Michael York), for his share of the family’s inheritance.
