Dr. Howard Latimer (John Mills) heads to a London airport accompanied by a strange journalist en route to pick up a German actress as a favor. The next day, she’s found dead in his apartment, the journalist has vanished into thin air, and he’s the chief suspect in her murder. Thrown into an elaborate web of suspicion, intrigue and coincidence where no one is to be trusted, Dr. Latimer must collaborate with a Scotland Yard detective (Roland Culver) to clear his name.
